Sankranthi is undoubtedly one of the biggest seasons for Telugu cinema. 2020 is all set to witness one of the biggest clashes of Telugu cinema. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Superstar Mahesh Babu and Young Rebelstar Prabhas are heading for the big clash. Here are the details of the three films that are releasing during the season:
NBK – Boyapati Film: Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a break and is busy campaigning in Hindupur. Right after the elections, Balakrishna will focus on the script of his next film. Boyapati Sreenu will direct this project and the regular shoot starts from July. The movie will be produced by NBK Films banner and will release during Sankranthi 2020.
Mahesh Babu – Anil Ravipudi Film: Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to work with young and talented Anil Ravipudi in his next after Maharshi. The film is in final stages of pre-production and the regular shoot starts this June. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead and Anil Sunkara, GMB Entertainments, Dil Raju are the producers. The film is aimed for Sankranthi 2020 release.
Prabhas 20: Young Rebelstar Prabhas after Saaho will test his luck with a romantic drama. Radha Krishna Kumar is the director and this film completed two major schedules. Set during the backdrop of 1970s in Europe, the film is made on a huge budget and Jaan is the title considered for the movie. Pooja Hegde is the female lead and the makers are keen on having a Sankranthi 2020 release for the film.
