Gundu Hanumantha Rao is no more

Popular Tollywood artist Gundu Hanumantha Rao, who appeared in more than 400 films as a comedian, has breathed his last in the wee hours of Monday in Hyderabad.

The yesteryear comedian, aged 61, has been suffering with kidney ailment from the past few months and has been treated for the same in a private hospital. Recently, he underwent dialysis treatment after receiving aid from Chiranjeevi and Telangana Chief Minister’s relief fund.

Gundu Hanumantha Rao came closer to audience with the famous Telugu TV serial Amrutham in which he played the role of a chef.
