Popular South Indian film actress Radhika Sarath Kumar tweeted her utter disbelief at the Sri Lankan bomb blasts. She said she had a narrow escape from the blast that took place at the Cinnamon hotel in Colombo. The blast occurred just a short while after she vacated her room and left the hotel. She went on some personal work there and her providential escape came when she got her work finished and cleared the premises.
The blasts were said to have claimed over 200 lives till evening. The suspects are the terrorists from the dreaded ISIS organisation. The main targets were the devotees visiting the churches to celebrate the Easter. Nearly seven locations were shaken under the impact of the blasts. President of India Ramnath Kovind and leaders of the world condemned the tragedy.
Nearly 400 others sustained injuries and receiving treatment at different hospitals. British Prime Minister Teresa May called upon the world to stand united and fight against the terrorists.
