Hotshot Tamil composer Anirudh Ravichander made his debut in Tollywood with Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi. Because of his strong track record in Tamil with numerous chartbuster albums to his credit, it is expected that he will rule the roost in Tollywood. However, the debacle of Agnyathavaasi has impacted Anirudh’s offers in Telugu. He then took an unceremonious exit from NTR’s Aravindha Sametha.
It seemed like his career in Tollywood is all but over. But, he made a striking comeback with Nani’s Jersey. His haunting music score proved to be a big asset for the success of Jersey. Impressed with his work, Nani recommended Anirudh for his next film Gang Leader which is set for release in September. He has once again came up with a promising work and the songs that were released so far received a good response.
Now, Anirudh is set to bag another big ticket offer very soon. Reportedly, the makers of Allu Arjun’s next film ICON are in talks with Anirudh. Currently busy with a bunch of Tamil biggies like Darbar, Indian 2 and Vijay’s next film, Anirudh is likely to take a call very soon. He is very desperate to make a mark in Tollywood and he might accept this crazy offer. As Tollywood directors are looking for tunes which are a blend of novelty and mass beat, Anirudh might be the best option for them.
