The Modi government at the Centre has not given any special financial assistance to the ailing Andhra state in its budget. Yet, CM Jagan has not spoken a single word of protest till now. CPM national level leader Brinda Karat said that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman herself said that there is no special package for AP but CM has not reacted to this as well. Karat asked whether Jagan lips are sealed with Fevicol?
Karat made these damaging remarks during her visit to Andhra. The Left leaders are particularly angry against Jagan for his total silence on the anti-people policies of BJP. It’s an open secret that AP CM is not in a position to criticize any party in government at the Centre. He got tremendous support from the poorer sections of voters in the last election. But there’s nothing he could do to fully fulfill his countless promises.
This is what Brinda Karat said about Jagan’s helpless political situation though he got historic victory. At the same time, the Left leaders are objecting to Jagan’s bankrupt policy of not fighting against injustice being done by the Modi Regime.
