Mega Prince Varun Tej is a delighted man after his recent outing F2 has been declared as the Sankranthi blockbuster. After his last outing Anthariksham 9000 kmph did not do well, Varun decided not to experiment at this crucial time in his career. He is keen on starting his next film which is a sports drama and will be helmed by a debutant Kiran Korrapati.
Varun Tej will play a boxer in this sports drama and the regular shoot commences from February. Action King Arjun has been roped in to play Varun’s boxing coach in the film. Arjun earlier was seen in Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya and essayed the role of the lead antagonist in Abhimanyudu. Varun Tej will co-produce this untitled film along with Allu Arjun’s brother Bobby. Varun is being trained specially for his role and turning fit to surprise the audience as a boxer.
