Nandamuri Balakrishna happened to listen to the script of Rythu four years ago and he handed over the responsibility to Krishna Vamsi to helm the project. However it was Krish who impressed Balayya with Gautamiputra Satakarni after which Rythu has been kept on hold for sometime. Now it is Balakrishna who took the initiative back and Rythu is back on cards. The pre-production work of the film is currently on cards and Big B Amitabh Bachchan has been brought on to the board to play a crucial role in the movie. He will be seen playing the President of India in the film and will have a limited screen presence.
Once Big B gave his nod, Krishna Vamsi wanted to utilize the actor completely and is busy making enough changes for the script. Sources reveal that Balakrishna too gave his nod for the changes and the creative director will wrap up the work by December. Amitabh’s role in the film will be expanded enough to bring enough impact of the actor.The regular shoot of Rythu is expected to start next year however the movie will be launched soon before that. V Anand Prasad will produce the movie on Bhavya Creations banner.
