C-Voter opinion poll: AP people favouring TDP

The C-Voter opinion poll results have predicted a comfortable majority for the BJP-led NDA in the 2019 polls. But the BJP will face electoral losses in the southern states of Telangana, AP, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka where it can win only 15 out of the 129 MP seats.

The opinion poll has said the people of AP are favouring the TDP leadership as of now.With regard to parliamentary polls, the poll says the BJP will make significant gains even in the three northern states where the party lost its power in recent elections.The opinion poll says the NDA may win 291 MP seats while the UPA will end up with just 171 seats. But these figures will change if Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati parties tie up in Uttar Pradesh. Then the NDA will fall short of majority and the BJP will have to look for new allies support to form the government.
