MAA Silver Jubilee Celebrations : Chiru and organisers disappoint NRIs

The silver jubilee celebrations of MAA( Movie Artists association) are currently underway in Dallas. The two day event opened with a banquet party on Friday night and it will be followed by the main event Saturday.

Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the event as Chief Guest along with few other actors of Tollywood. The organizers have many sold tickets by marketing Chiranjeevi’s presence as guest for the event. The ticket prices for the banquet ranges from $75 to $300.

As Banquet facilities audience to get a good glimpse and interaction with Chiranjeevi and others, audience bought tickets for this event.

However, audience are very disappointed with the way the event has been handled by the organisers. Chiranjeevi,who seated in the front row for about 30 minutes, didn’t even come over to the dias and suddenly left after some time. Forget about interacting , Very few percentage of people were able to see him.

Despite multiple requests from organizers, Chiranjeevi didn’t come to the dias and left the venue much to the disappointment of everyone there. Sources say that he might have disappointed due to the sparse turn out at the event. Only around 50% of the capacity filled up as per reports

Many felt that this is not acceptable as it is not a free event and they have bought tickets for an expensive price. They are blaming the organisers for their poor planning and arrangements.
