But behind this, there is another news which seems to be lurking. That is Chiranjeevi’s involvement in the title selection. Apparently, the original title of the film was Vijetha. Now Vijetha is the name of a pretty well liked and popular Chiranjeevi movie.
Chiranjeevi is said to be a little unhappy with Tej’s use of his titles and songs, leaving nothing for Charan to use in future. That is why he reportedly stepped in and personally interactes with Tej and the team to request a change in title. It is said that Winner was suggested by Chiranjeevi himself.
