Hyderabad: Putting an end to the ongoing speculation over his joining YSRCP, star comedian Ali on Friday clarified that he would join the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party on January 9 and open to contest if the party wishes so. However, Ali’s latest decision is drawing severe criticism from the fans of power star Pawan Kalyan. Ali has been a close associate of Pawan Kalyan and was almost figured in every movie of the power star.
Ali recently attended an inaugural function of Jana Sena party office in Hyderabad and presented a gift to Pawan Kalyan and wished for his success. Ali hails from Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district. There was also a speculation that Ali would contest on Jana Sena ticket from his home town.
Now, the latest news of joining YSRCP made fans of Pawan Kalyan angry and they already started trolling him on the social media.
It may be recalled that recently comedian-turned-producer Bandla Ganesh joined Congress party shrugging off all the speculation about his joining Jana Sena party. Bandla Ganesh used to say that Pawan Kalyan was like God for him. These two close followers and great fans of Pawan Kalyan didn’t join Jana Sena party, but the parties that the power star always criticises.
Recently, Ali met YS Jagan at Hyderabad airport and expressed his interest in joining YSRCP. YS Jagan is busy with his ‘Pada Yatra’ and will conclude it on January 9, on the same day, Ali has decided to join the YSRCP.
