Mehbooba updates

Dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, who disappointed audience with his last outing Paisa Vasool, has quickly moved onto his next project which stars his son Akash Puri in the lead role. Titled as Mehbooba, the film stars Mangalore based newbie Neha Shetty as the heroine.

The film’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in picturesque locales near Himalayan mountains. The team is braving extreme weather conditions of the region and quickly wrapping crucial scenes in the film. At present, the whole unit is shooting at an altitude 18000 metres and a freezing temperature of -7 degrees.

Soon after wrapping up this schedule, the unit will move to Rajasthan and Punjab. Puri Jagannadh himself is producing the film which is a love story set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo Pak war.
