Deputy Chief Minister Pilli Subhas Chandra Bose made sensational comments on the ACB DSP, CI, SI and constables in Visakhapatnam. He said that they behaved worse than dacoits as they harassed and booked a false case against the Madhurawada sub registrar Tarakesu. The ACB officials did this just because Tarakesu did not give them bribes. The sub-registrar showed CCTV video footage to the DCM and proved his innocence.
Thoroughly convinced, Minister Bose wrote to the ACB DGP to suspend the officials who are guilty in the incident. He announced suspension of Vizag Stamps and Registrations DIG Ravindranath for colluding with the ACB officials. The DCM became furious asking how the ACB officials could punish an honest officer for not doing corruption to pay them bribes.
Minister Bose said that he would take this to the notice of CM Jagan also. Right from the day of his swearing-in, Jagan has been saying repeatedly that he would provide a corruption-free government. The latest incident came as a big shock. A Deputy Chief Minister himself frankly points out about corruption in the very department whose work is to eliminate corruption.
