Talented director Harish Shankar took almost two complete years to start his next film Valmiki. The movie is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda and Varun Tej, Atharvaa Murali are the lead actors. Though Pooja Hegde has been roped in as the female lead, the actress later walked out due to undisclosed reasons. The hunt for the leading lady is currently on.
Now the latest update we hear is that the music composer Devi Sri Prasad walked out of the project and Harish Shankar replaced him with Mickey J Meyer. The music sittings of the film started recently. A crisp Singapore schedule has been wrapped up recently and the next schedule of Valmiki started in Hyderabad. Bankrolled by 14 Reels Plus, Valmiki is slated for September release.
