The controversy between the fans of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu reached police station in Mummidivaram Mandal in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Ammalapuram DSP AVL Prasanna Kumar convened a meeting with both the factions at police station on Thursday for settlement.

On the occasion of Ganesh Immersion on Wednesday night at Ananthavaram Village, a fire cracker set off by the procession of Mahesh Babu fans, destroyed Pawan Kalyan’s poster. Kalyan’s fans claiming that Mahesh’s fans had deliberately damaged their favorite actor Flexi locked horns. Six people were reportedly injured after the fight broke out.

DSP advised that in future, Fans associations should not fight over flexis and if anybody setups a hoarding, they should voluntarily remove by the end of the day. He advised them to take up social activities on their hero’s birthday, instead of sticking posters or taking out a rally or cutting birthday cakes on roads.

Mr Kumar strongly reprimanded people who were responsible for Wednesday’s controversy. If such incidents recur in future, he warned that cases will be filed and stringent action will be take.
