YSRCP Nagari contestant Roja got shocker from DWCRA (Development of women and children in rural areas) of the constituency during her campaigning yesterday. They questioned her on not doing anything for the constituency for the last 5 years. Roja got shocked by this and told ‘I know who trained you’ and left the place. Details as below.
As part of her campaigning, Roja met some DWCRA women yesterday and asked them to vote again for her. However, DWCRA women told her that they saw her in person only during the 2014 election and she never came to them after winning the seat. They added, they get to see their own MLA only on TV channels but not in person. They also made comments like, “If Jagan doesn’t become CM, you will not even go to assembly again, what is the use of voting for you”. Roja got shocked with this incident, but immediately recovered and countered them saying, “I know who is behind you and who trained you to ask all these questions” and left that place.
In Nagari constituency, Gali Bhanu Prakash is contesting from TDP, Janasena gave the ticket to BSP and they are fielding Dr Venkata Ramana from here. We will have to wait and see what will be the result of this triangular fight.
Roja has not done anything to the constituency. She was busy with TV programmes. She was not seen even in the AP assembly except in TV programmes. She is not a fit candidate for the constituency.
