KT Ramarao, Telangana IT minister and the force behind the TRS landslide victory said the people of Hyderabad had written new chapter in the political history of Capital city. In a quick reaction on the trends of the counting of votes of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, KTR said he was bowing his head before the people of Hyderabad who responded to the call of TRS to vote for a party of performance.
He reminded his assessment of the situation that the GHMC was also moving on the path of change under the leadership of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. ” This victory stands testimony to the able leadership of KCR,” he said flanked by senior party leader D Srinivas, ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Jagadiswar Reddy .
The party would now concentrate on the implementation of what we told the people during the campaign. ” TRS enjoys universal support and we all work to build a Hyderabad which everybody of you wants to see. We treat this victory as the blessings of the Greater Hyderabad people to TRS,” he said and added that TRS now meant Tiruguleni Rajakiya Shakti (an invincible force).
He thanked the rank and file of the party for working tirelessly to the victory of the party for over a month. He said the election had proven that entire citizenry of Hyderabad, irrespective of their origin, was with TRS.
He hoped that the victory would open the eyes of the Opposition parties and transform them to be cooperative to the government.
