The makers of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramlo’ have finally come to an understanding that they should not compete directly. They have decided to release their movies with a day’s gap at least.
January 12 is the date that ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ have locked for their release. This has been worrying the fans as collections would be split on the first day. No film would get the advantage on the first day. From the last two weeks back-door consultations have been going on and they now agree with not releasing on the same day.
A formal announcement of new changed dates will be made in the second week of December.
Suresh Babu has not announced the release date of ‘Venky Mama’ yet. He is still keeping it as a national secret. But he will have to announce it by this month-end. So, both Anil Sunkara and S Radhakrishna will announce their new release dates in the second week of December.
Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ will begin its promotional activity later this week. ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ is set to wrap up its entire shoot by this month-end.
