BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao lashed out AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, alleging Centre-sanctioned funds are being misused in the state.
‘PM Modi gave a worn to the entire nation that, he will never be corrupt, nor encourage corruption. Then how can the BJP encourage corruption in Andhra Pradesh? It came to the Centre’s notice that, the sanctioned funds are being misused. Even the CAG audit report highlighted the fact that corruption took place in the capital construction.
If the Centre still goes on giving funds, it is like handing over election fund for TDP. The Centre has already granted permission for the development of Industrial SEZs in Vishakhapatnam and Chennai, as a part of the Vishakhapatnam – Chennai corridor.
CBN is giving more preference to boast about himself, than developing the state. Even a chameleon will hang its head in shame seeing Chandrababu Naidu. The AP CM who accepted the ‘Special Package’ is now behaving as if he is the leader of the ‘Prathyeka Hodha Udhyama Samithi’. He should realize that this is not a cinema where he can take U-turns, and twists at his will and wish’, said GVL.
The counter from GVL comes in the wake of TDP’s ‘Mahanadu’ attack on BJP.
