In all likelihood, KCR’s nephew and former minister T. Harish Rao may be asked to contest from one of the parliamentary segments in Telangana. TRS circles are full rumours that KCR has decided to send Harish to the Centre. There, an important post will be given to the young leader. This is as part of the TRS chief’s game plan to play a king-maker role in the national politics by winning all the 16 Lok Sabha seats.
KCR is not taking any chances as far as winning parliamentary constituencies is concerned. He is selecting strong candidates after strategic considerations. There is also a rumour that former minister Tummala Nageswara Rao may be asked to contest in Khammam Lok Sabha segment.
In the last assembly elections also, the TRS has scored very well in Khammam district. The politics surrounding Harish Rao has gained greater attention. The opponents are also being surprised by the twists being given by KCR regarding his Lok Sabha election strategies.
