Seen recently in BA Jaya’s ‘Vaisakham’, actor Harish is teaming up with first timer Santosh, who has assisted K Raghavendra Rao in the past, for his next, the pre-production of which is in full-swing. We hear both the actor and the director have been travelling with the script – a dark comedy – for a long time and it was recently decided that they take it on to sets.
“After ‘Vaisakham’, Harish has been narrated multiple scripts but nothing got him excited. He felt it’s high time that he takes Santosh’s draft on to floors as the director has been waiting for him. It will roll next month and the idea is to wrap it up under 50 days. It would be a Hyderabad-set drama with ‘Kshanam’ fame Sri Charan Pakala’s musical score. Former Miss Sydney Ashima Narwal is cast opposite Harish,” said a source close to the project.
The source further added that both Harish and Santosh have taken the as-yet-untitled film as make or break. “They are certain that the content will click with the audience. Harish, especially, is banking heavily on the skills of Santosh.”
