It’s not even two months completed but allegations are levelled that the Jaganmohan Reddy government has become intolerant, oppressive and dictatorial. The stopping of Padayatra and dharna of Madigan Reservation Porata Samiti has triggered strong reactions. MRPS leader Krishna Madiga took strong objection and described the government as oppressive. He was angry that the dharna planned by him at the Assembly was stopped by the police.
Krishna Madiga accused Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy of spreading falsehoods on the issue of the categorisation of SC reservations. He says that Jagan had assured all support for the categorisation agitation when he was in the opposition but now he changed his stand. Even YSR gave his support to the MRPS. Krishna Madiga asserted that the Jagan Reddy government cannot suppress the MRPS agitation which will be intensified in many more different ways in the coming days.
