Andhra Pradesh elections are over and all the parties are waiting for results very curiously. Meanwhile political parties trying to save some money by cutting the costs wherever possible. Now the reports are coming that there is a very huge ramp down and layoffs in YSRCP IT centre.
It is known news that, YSRCP has employed huge number of employees for its IT wing ( this is in addition to the outsourced work given to Prashant kishor) and spent a bomb on managing social media. YSR CP had recruited people who have knowledge in IT to maintain YouTube accounts and spread the message in favour of their party. YSRCP also had recruited several people who write positive content on social media about their party, to maintain separate pages in social media , to comment in social media, to share the content in social media. Most of the employees are based at Hyderabad and as per the reports YSR CP leader Vijay Sai Reddy coordinated and managed this wing.
Now the party has decided to lay off most of these employees and ramp down the size of this wing. Most of these employees got a shocker from the party as there was no prior intimation regarding the same.
