Hyderabad is gearing up for series of events. Already, by seeing Hyderabad roads , people got a doubt whether GHMC got any sort of “aladdin magic lamp” as they transformed Hyderabad roads in a week span of time. Though people complained on GHMC and TS government not repairing roads during rainy season when people faced severe traffic hurdles because of the rains, they are happy now as at least now these works are completed. But despite good roads, Hyderabadis will have to brace themselves for traffic nightmares and diversions starting 20th November till end of November.

During 20th to 22nd vice president visit to Hyderabad, so obviously there will be traffic diversions. But what follows is wedding season. As there have been no auspicious timings before and after, many marriages were planned during this time. Almost all function halls are full in Hyderabad during that time. Hyderabad function halls have limited parking facilities and so some people in Hyderabad, never hesitate using public roads near function halls as their own parking spaces. With all the function halls booked in those days, traffic hurdles are expected to rise exponentially. Nov 26th is AR Rehman live at Gachibowli stadium. A few months back, when Ilayaraja live show happened in the city at the same place, it blocked Financial district area completely. Then, PM Modi is attending Metro inauguration on 28th November. Finally 28th to 30th is Global entrepreneur summit in Hyderabad for which Ivanka Trump is attending. Already Hitec city area is fully under surveillance as she is going to stay in Westin hotel in Hyderabad.
So Hyderabadis’ brace yourself for these traffic nightmares and plan your schedules accordingly!!!
