Upasana Konidela is one renowned and young entrepreneurs who represent two big Telugu families. The granddaughter of Prathap C Reddy, CEO of Apollo Hospitals, Upsana is the daughter-in-law of Megastar Chiranjeevi. She spoke to a leading daily recently and here are the excerpts from the interview with Upasana:
I was born and brought up in Chennai. I am well bonded with my grandparents. With great responsibility assigned, I am happy for living up the expectations. My grandfather is always a helping hand and I wish to take his dreams forward.
Marriage is an added responsibility for everyone. Balancing life is the biggest challenge. For me staying healthy is the first priority apart from profession and family. Everyone needs healthy food and exercise to stay fit.
I looked fat enough during my college days. Faced several challenging situations due to my weight. It is then, I started a magazine ‘Be Positive’ after my college. It deals with health and lifestyle. It all started 12 years ago and with social media taking the lead, I started educating through videos on my official twitter handle.
I love watching films. It’s special to watch Charan on screen and I will be left excited if he is praised. When one has an understanding husband, balancing professional and personal life is quite easier.
Charan is a kind-hearted man and marrying him is one of the best things that happened in my life. I am treated like a princess every day. We are married for seven years now.
My father-in-law Chiranjeevi is an exciting person and is an inspiration for many. He has huge respect for women.
I am an animal lover and we adopted several animals rescued by Blue Cross. All these are taken special care at our farm.
I love London and its atmosphere, food. I even visit San Francisco.
Oven chicken is my favorite food. I love to be fashionable at times.
