The ruling YCP leaders are keeping mum despite bitter criticism of the BJP against the Jaganmohan Reddy government. Even MP Vijayasai Reddy and Minister Botsa Satyanarayana are not daring to launch counter attacks on the BJP. This has emboldened BJP AP President Kanna Laxminarayana who is now saying that he has never seen such an inefficient government like Jagan’s in his long political career. His latest specific attack is with regard to the hopeless situation of construction workers.
Because of Jagan policies, the construction industry is locked in steep crisis and its workers are getting very low wages of Rs 150 per head only. This is because of the lack of demand and unprecedented fall in construction activity all over the state. Kanna asked whether this is Jagan’s return gift to the AP people for giving him a massive victory with 151 MLA seats out 175. Kanna deplored that the YCP government is just interested in giving its party colours to government offices but not in the actual welfare of the people.
