Defame, destabilize and destroy may be the YCP revenge formula but this as a policy may not work under the prevailing political atmosphere in Andhra and also in the entire country. CM Jaganmohan Reddy is acting very smart by continuously spreading rumours on shifting Capital City from Amaravati with an aim solely to cripple real estate in Krishna and Guntur districts. Latest doubts are that YCP Regime has almost decided to shift Capital City.

Analysts say that CM Jagan has no complete authority or power that is necessary to shift the entire capital city in one stroke. Basic infrastructure for Assembly, Secretariat, High Court, etc is fully available in Amaravati. To shift High Court, the green signal is required from Supreme Court and the Centre. Moreover, the Modi government at the Centre is putting all hurdles for Jagan as PM Modi is not ready to encourage anti-development and unproductive activities. Already, the Centre is moving fast to obstruct Jagan policy on Polavaram.

The Centre has provided huge funds for Amaravati and it will certainly say no to capital shifting. There’s a possibility of rival parties and citizens going to the High Court against any decision against Amaravati.
