The Telangana High Court on Monday (today) reserved the judgement on the petition seeking cancellation of bail granted to YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Miniser YS Jaganmohan Reddy in quid-pro-quo cases filed by CBI.

The petition was filed by YSRCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju.

Raju filed the same petition in CBI Court in Hyderabad in May this year. After hearing arguments for few months, the CBI Court delivered a judgement in September this year dismissing the petition filed by Raju.

Raju later moved Telangana High Court challenging the CBI Court judgement dismissing his petition. He brought to the notice of High Court that Jagan is currently in a powerful position as Chief Minister of AP and he is influencing the witnesses and influencing the investigation agencies misusing his official position as CM.

The High Court sought CBI view on this petition. But the CBI did not make its stand clear and only told the court that it will leave the decision to the High Court whether to cancel the bail of Jagan or not.

The arguments of both sides were completed on Monday. The High Court has reserved the judgement and is expected only in the New Year 2022.
