Tollywood’s latest sensational blockbuster Janatha Garage is having a dream run at the box office. After striking hard at the box office in the first weekend followed by Vinayaka Chaviti holiday,the NTR – Mohan Lal starrer is running with decent occupancies on weekdays as well. In costal region, Janatha Garage touched the break even figure in just six days and emerged as NTR’s top grossing film.
After surpassing the 50 Crore mark at the end of five days, the Koratala Siva directional had a good sixth day in all areas of its release. Going by the current trade reports, Janatha Garage touched the 60 Crore mark. In areas like Nizam and West, where NTR’s previous films failed to make a string impact, Janatha Garage is just in the reach of break even figure. In Guntur and Krishna, the film is racing ahead with strong collections. After collecting solid figures in the first weekend, Janatha Garage notched decent numbers in overseas on Tuesday thanks to the Labour Holiday.
With no big ticket releases and one more long weekend to follow, Janatha Garage is setting sights on finding a place in the list of all time top 3 grossing films of Tollywood.
