Nandamuri Kalyanram pinned massive hopes on his upcoming film ISM and sensational director Puri Jagannadh has been given the responsibility to direct the movie. After rejecting several scripts, Kalyanram voted for ISM believing that Puri will deliver a racy action entertainer. However the rushes of the film did not impress the actor and he suggested few changes. The movie is currently in reshoot mode and the shoot of the film will be wrapped up by the end of this month.
The makers of ISM wanted the film to be released during Dasara however as per the latest update, the film is out of Dussehra race. Kalyanram is keen on the film’s output and he is not in a hurry to wrap up things soon. Also several films joined the Dasara race which made the makers of the film walk out of the race and they will aim the film’s release for the next comfortably available release date.
Aditya Arya played the female lead and Anup Rubens composed the music for ISM. Kalyanram himself bankrolled ISM on NTR Arts banner.
