The message has strongly reached the AP people about the new found friendship between Jaganmohan Reddy and Telangana CM Chandrasekhara Rao. This has a big impact on the neutral voters who are slowly turning against the YSR Congress Party because of their anti-KCR sentiment. No serious Andhra voter will support a pro-TRS party like YCP as KCR and his family are known for humiliating Andhra sentiment all through.
Many YCP leaders initially thought the friendship with KCR will improve the chances of Jagan but their opinions are changing now considering the response from the public. These leaders are even trying to make Jagan stop openly give indications about any proximity to the TRS party. They think the meet with KTR and recent visit of ex minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav have caused lot of damage to the YCP image among the people especially the neutral voters.
The YCP leaders are coming to a conclusion that Jagan’s friendship with KCR is causing more harm than good to the YCP which has to face the AP assembly election in the next three to four months. The YCP leaders are particularly worried about TDP’s quick social media campaigns on Jagan-KCR friendship and related political developments. This is why they want Jagan to be extra cautious in dealing with TRS.
