New Delhi: Badminton star Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, who won silver medal in Rio Olympics, is flooded with unprecedented fortune as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced a cash reward of Rs 2 crore to Sindhu and Rs 1 crore to bronze medal winner in wrestling – Sakshi Malik.
Speaking to media persons in Delhi, Kejriwal announced promotion to father of Sakshi Malik who is currently working in Delhi Transport Corporation.
Meanwhile, wishes from across the country are pouring in congratulating Sindhu and Sakshi. Superstar Rajinikanth tweet has created a storm in social media with more than 19,000 re-tweets in less than 24 hours. Rajinikanth stated that he has become a big fan of Sindhu.
