Khorasana Province from Iran evince interest to invest in Telangana

A delegation of 25 industrialists from the Khorasana Razavi Province of Iran met Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Md Mahmood Ali and expressed their interest in investing in Telangana.

Hyderabad:Industrialists from Khorsan Razavi province in Iran evince interest in investing in Telangana. A high level delegation led by President of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of Khorasan Razavi province, Shafei Gholam Hossein, Senior Consular, Consulate General of Islamic Rebulic of Iran, in Hyderabad Ali Paryad, met the Telangana Deputy Chief Minister, Md.Mahmood Ali and Minister for Industries Jupally Krishna Rao on Monday.
The delegation comprising of 25 industrialists and members of commerce had a brief discussion on forging bilateral relationships of commerce and industrial development with India and in particular with the state of Telangana. The President of Chamber of Commerce said there is special place for the city of Hyderabad in the hearts of Irani people as for centuries this city has been home for many of their community. Post lifting of UN sanctions on Iran their country, and in particular, the province of Khorsan Razavi, the most important provinces of Iran which is strategically located next to CLS countries and Afghanistan is known as CIS Gate. And it has 6000 production units in different lines of food and medicinal industries, textile and leather industries, electrical and electronic industries, etc.
Briefing to the visiting delegates about the investments opportunities, the Deputy Chief Minister said that another round of meeting comprising the Iranian delegation, officials from concerned departments and industrialists from Telangana State will be organized to decide upon the particular areas of business interests between the Telangana state and Khorasan Razavi province, Iran in particular. On a lighter note he remarked that Iran is an integral part of every Hyderabadi, as their day starts with an Irani Chai which has become an essential part of the cities cuisine.
