Three members from the late Kinjarapu Yerran Naidu family have won in the present elections. They have won in two assembly segments and one Lok Sabha seat. Yerran Naidu’s brother Atchannaidu won in Tekkali assembly segment while his daughter Bhavani won in Rajahmundry assembly segment.
Yerran Naidu’s son Rammohan Naidu won in Srikakluam Lok Sabha segment for the second time. Many stalwarts and most ministers of TDP have bitten the dust this time. The Kinjarapu family has established its undoubted hold on the party cadres by bringing victory even in YCP wave.
Rammohan Naidu has been a strong fighter for the TDP in the Parliament. Their family has stood as a rock of support for the TDP in North Coastal Andhra politics.
