The ruling TDP leaders have successfully popularized Jagan knife attack as ‘Kodi Kathi case’ in Andhra. Recently, YSR Congress Party leaders have complained to President Ramnath Kovind that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, DGP Thakur and Minister Adinarayana Reddy and some others were involved in the conspiracy behind the attempt to murder case.

Reacting sharply to the YCP charges, Minister Adinarayana Reddy accused Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy and his party leaders of playing tricks and trying hard to dupe the people of Andhra by spreading baseless information against the TDP. “They have charged CM and DGP in the beginning. Now they have included my name in the accused list. They are playing many tricks. But the truth will come out in the people’s court. The voters will give a fitting lesson to Jagan in 2019,” the Minister said.
Adinarayana Reddy turned very angry and said that he was ready to get hanged if he was found guilty in Kodi Kathi case. But, would the YCP leaders get ready for such a punishment if their allegations against TDP eventually are proved wrong?, the Minister asked.

Adinarayana Reddy further said that Jagan was seen smiling and moving normally with his followers after Kodi Kathi incident in Vizag airport. Soon within a few hours, Jagan turned serious and got admitted in a Hyderabad hospital as his party leaders began playing it up as a big incident. Jagan and his party leaders were only spreading lies and trying to dupe the people which would only turn against them in the end, the Minister said.
