Kodumuru YSRCP MLA Mani Gandhi today joined the TDP in the presence of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Mani called on the chief minister at his Vijayawada camp office this morning before CM convened Cabinet meeting. Naidu offered him Yellow Kanduva and invited him into the party. Deputy chief minister KE Krishna Murthy, ministers Atchannaidu, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu senior leaders Dhulipalla, Y Srinivasarao, TD Janardhan Rao, Payyavula Kesava etc also were present at the time of Mani Gandhi’s joining the party.
With this the number of those who joined the TDP from YSRCP has gone up to 8- seven MLAs and one MLC. The next few days will see few more MLAs to desert the YSRCP to join the TDP. Mani Gandhi is son of Sikhamani (late), who represented Kodumuru constituency for some time. Later he joined Congress.
