Vice President M. Venkaiah has said that it is a matter of great concern these days as political leaders are taking standards to a new low instead of setting examples to others in terms of behaviour, language and ideals.
He clarified that he was not referring to any particular leader or a particular state but that in general everywhere, politicians were indulging in mutual allegations along caste, community and regional lines in an objectionable manner.
Venkaiah addressed the 19th Dr Ramineni Foundation Puraskarams presentation held at CK Convention Centre beside AP Police Headquarters near Tadepalli in Amaravati capital city limits here.
