Manikarnika first look

Telugu director Krish’s second Bollywood outing is the biopic on valiant queen of Jhansi, Lakshmi Bhai which has been titled as Manikarnika.

The first look poster has been unveiled today on the eve of Independence Day and it has Kangana Ranaut in a fiery avatar wielding a sword in a ravaging battle with the Britishers. The goosebump-inducing poster also confirms that the film will hit the screens on January 25th, 2019, a day before Republic Day.

Produced jointly by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain, the film’s story has been penned by Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad.
