Akkineni Nagarjuna’s much awaited romantic entertainer Manmadhudu 2 is all set for grand release this Friday. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film has Nag playing the role of a casanova and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in a bold character who is in her twenties. An official remake of French film, Manmadhudu 2 promises to be a light-hearted comedy dosed with family emotions. There are a bunch of lady characters surrounding Nag’s role and the trailers revealed that the story has plenty of elements appealing to family audience as well.
Nagarjuna is quite upbeat about the way Manmadhudu 2 has shaped up and the team is very happy after watching the final output yesterday. They are confident that the film will repeat the magic at box office just like Manmadhudu did 17 years ago. Manmadhudu 2 has the likes of Vennela Kishore who is expected to draw laughs ala comedian Sunil in Manmadhudu. Nag’s style quotient and his mannerisms are likely to be the USP for the film and the rich production values coupled with lavish visuals will be a treat to audience.
The trendy music album has already garnered good buzz in audience and set up strong expectations on the film. With good buzz riding on the film, the openings are likely to be promising compared to Nag’s recent films.
