After the failure of conducting Parliament proceedings normally for fifth consecutive day and the opposition started protesting unitedly outside the Parliament house, the government seems has realized that it would sent wrong message to the people and started efforts to end the deadlock.

Senior ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar today held discussions after the adjournment of the Parliament with leaders of other parties to find a way out to end this deadlock. As the main demand of the opposition was that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be present to continue debate on demonetization, the ministers has reportedly assured them that Modi will attend Rajya Sabha tomorrow.

The minister’s initiative came after the united opposition has given a call for country-wide protest on November 28 against demonetisation. Even they are considering to organise `Bharath Bandh’. The opposition mainly pointing out that Modi has been talking on demonetisation in Japan, Goa, Agra and other places levelling accusations against opposition parties, but avoiding Parliament.

Though Modi was in Lok Sabha today, the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan disallowed the adjournment motion notices by opposition parties for a debate on demonetisation, amid huge uproar from opposition benches. The pandemonium saw the house being adjourned for the day

While about 13 parties led by Congress held protest at Mahatma Gandhi statue, near Parliament, later Mamata Benerjee, backed by JD-U, SP, NCP and AAP, held a demonstration in the national capital and ramped up attack on Narendra Modi, alleging the country was not safe in his hands.
