It is the Modi government which is responsible for the TDP breaking its alliance with the NDA, says AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu. This comment comes as a response to PM Modi’s statement that CBN is ignoring the development of AP for the sake of protecting the future of his son Lokesh. CBN said Modi and other BJP leaders were targetting him just because he questioned them on the issue of special status and other bifurcation promises.
Naidu, during his current visit to West Godavari district, said by making false comments on his family, Modi has showed to what level he has stooped. He asserted once again that the continued injustice being done to AP state has left the TDP with no choice but to revolt against the Modi government. Naidu asserted that the TDP would go to any extent for the sake of protecting the interests of AP people.
Naidu blamed the Modi government for forcing the CBI, ED and other central agencies to conduct raids and filed cases against political rivals and this was what happened against TDP leaders after they started fighting for AP cause in State and in National levels. PM Modi is practicing this kind of vindictive politics to suppress opposition leaders like Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav and others in the country and this would only boomerang on Modi in 2019 election.
