It is a known fact that Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut will be seen as former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha, in the latter’s biopic.
A special prosthetics team is working on this project to get Kangana’s looks and appearance right.
This film has been titled ‘Thalaivi’ and its shoot commenced today in Chennai.
Directed by Vijay, this serious political drama will have Arvind Swamy in renowned politician, MGR’s role.
‘Thalaivi’ will cover numerous lesser-known incidents in Jayalalitha’s life and project her journey towards the top in Tamil Nadu politics.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri, along with Shailesh R Singh is bankrolling this project.
