Nagarjuna’s difficulties with Oopiri

Oopiri is most definitely Nagarjuna’s most different film. Not that he hasn’t trodden the undiscovered path before but this time will be absolutely Avant garde with him sitting in a wheelchair throughout. And the actor reveals that it wasn’t an easy task to go through the process.

“Any emotion includes a lot of physical movement for us in general. Be it crying or laughing. Likewise, every activity also has the same thing! But when I laughed, even my chest couldn’t move. When I was on a bike, I had to be still. It wasn’t easy, he explains,” adding that the experience has enriched him and made him a good actor.

Meanwhile, the actor also talked about how dubbing in a language he isn’t used to, proved to be a tough task. “I had an influence of Telugu while I talked in Tamil. I took my own time and didn’t stress myself. I just dubbed for an hour or two each day till I got the lines right. I didn’t want to punish myself and wanted to enjoy the process,” he shares.
