Telugu film Prasthanam that released in 2010 received critical acclaim though it could not rake huge money. Deva Katta directed this political thriller and Sharwanand, Saikumar, Sundeep Kishan played the lead roles. Now after 8 years, the movie is going to Bollywood. Though the talks have been on from some time, the official announcement has been out today. Deva Katta who directed the original has been asked to direct the Hindi version.
Sanjay Dutt will essay the role of Saikumar in the movie and Ali Fazal plays Sharwanand in this film which has been titled Prasthaanam in Hindi. Amyra Dastur is the female lead and Deva Katta made enough changes to the script to suit the Bollywood audience. Sanjay Dutt Productions will bankroll this prestigious film which will start rolling on Nargis Dutt’s birth anniversary on June 1st. The film will hit the screens during the end of this year.
