Kakinada: Tension-like situation prevailed for sometime when supporters and fans of Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan were reportedly laticharged by the police at hotel GRT Grand in Kakinada town.
The incident happened on Thursday evening when scores of his supporters swarmed the hotel to catch the glimpse of their favourite hero Pawan Kalyan. The police had a tough time managing the crowd. Later, the police used mild laticharge to disperse the crowd.
All eyes are on the Jana Sena leader as he will address the massive gathering at JNTU ground on Friday on special package and his party’s future course of action. Elaborate security arrangements were made as part of the public meeting.
Meanwhile, political pundits are predicting that this might be the right time for Pawan Kalyan to start his political innings as the issue on special status is brewing up eventhough the Centre had announced a package.
