Jana Sena party president and Telugu movie star Pawan Kalyan expressed shock at the breaking of law and order in Tuni on the occasion of Kapu Ikhya Garjana this evening.
Pawan informed media that he was rushing to Hyderabad from Kerala, where he was in the midst of a shoot of a film. He said he was addressing media tomorrow. His office sent an SMS to media.

Pawan, who also hails from Kapu community, is an ally of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. With things getting out of hand, according to sources, the TDP supremo is said to have contacted the Jana Sena president to request him to try to pacify the Kapu leaders who, the CM believes, were being incited by the opposition YSR Congress party.
Pawan worked as a trouble shooter in past as well- in the river front villages in Amaravati capital region, when the farmers opposed the land pooling and land acquisition. Pawan Kalyan’s timely intervention prevented the farmers from being hijacked by YSR Congress.
