Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who has been the Chief of the political party Janasena has been balancing his political and film career from sometime. He started shooting for his upcoming movie Katamrayudu from September and the movie has been planned to wrap up by the end of 2016. Dolly is directing this family entertainer and the shoot of the film has been delayed several times due to many unexpected and undisclosed reasons. Shruti Haasan is the female lead and Anup Rubens is composing the music.
The makers recently wrapped up a major schedule in Pollachi after which the entire movie unit returned back to Hyderabad. The makers are in plans to wrap up the shoot at the earliest as the movie has been aimed for Ugadi 2017 release. However Pawan even turned busy with his political acts which may even push the shoot of Katamrayudu further. A source from the film’s unit revealed that Pawan may not wrap up the shoot of the film before February. The makers canned all the episodes that do not need Pawan Kalyan. On the other side, Trivikram Srinivas is eagerly waiting to start his next with Pawan which has been initially planned to start rolling from January.
Pawan Kalyan who decided to turn active back in politics kept his directors waiting. Katamrayudu unit is quite confident that the film will hit the screens as planned. North Star Entertainments is producing the film.
