Plan B: CBN to drag Modi government to court on SCS

#SpecialCategoryStatusToAP is the buzz word in AP politics these days. Not just in politics, even High school kids and college students are discussing this topic. Now it is clear that BJP has taken the state for granted. AP parties, though woke up very late, started strong fight for this. No confidence motion by TDP and YSRCP fail is still on but speaker is adjourning the house every day. As per the analysts, most probably speaker will decide for adjourn sine die or completely prorogue the house without taking up motion of no confidence. So what should be Plan-B for political parties of AP.

YSRCP already told they will have their MPs resign to LS seats. But will this make any impact on Modi government is still a doubt. Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, TDP is having biggers plans. As per this Plan-B of TDP, if no confidence motion fails to take up, AP government is planning to go to court on union government for not granting SCS for AP. The AP government planning to file a writ petition in the Supreme Court in the matter. So, it is now confirmed that CBN has decided to drag Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to court on the special category status issue. As per the reports, affidavits are also being prepared to file the case. An IAS officer close to Mr Naidu is helping in this matter. In the writ petition the state government will clearly mention why CBN has accepted the special package in place of special category status and why he is now demanding special status.

If this happens , i.e state government fighting on center in supreme court that too on promises made by the center, no doubt this will stir a fresh and bigger debate across the country on quasi-federalism in India.
