An attack against director Puri Jagan has come out into the open a bit late. Apparently, the popular director was assaulted in his office by some distributors, who claimed to have lost a lot of money on his film ‘Loafer’.
Puri filed a case against these distributors. According to the statement issued by Banjara Hills Police station, Abhishek, Sudheer and Muthyala Ramdas reportedly used abusive language, physical violence and intimidation against Puri and his family members on the night of 14th April.
The director reportedly tried to reason with them, stating that we was not the producer of ‘Loafer’. Puri has filed the case after this did not stop them from attacking his office. The matter is being investigated by the police department.
