Sensational director Puri Jagannadh has been working on his next project which will re-launch his son Akash Jagannadh back to Telugu cinema after a while. The film is said to be an intense love story and the director revealed the first look along with the film’s title. The movie has been titled Mehbooba which is set in the backdrop of 1971 India – Pakistan war. Puri revealed that he is working on such an intense love story for the first time in his career.
Mehbooba features Neha Shetty in the female lead and the regular shoot of the film will start in October. Puri revealed that it was his son Akash’s passion for cinema which made him pen this film and do it with him. Mehbooba will be shot in some beautiful locales of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. Sandeep Chowta will compose the music and Puri Jagannadh himself will bankroll Mehbooba on Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects banners.
